MISSION
To assist in capacity building in the scientific and technological development
of Sub Saharan Africa through:
1. developing and participating in research (laboratory and field)
on endemic problems of substantial relevance to the social and economic
development of Sub-Saharan Africa;
2. enhancing and participating in research-related training to enhance
indigenous capacity building and utilization in the agricultural and biomedical
sciences in areas of substantial relevance to the improvement of national
health, education, and economic self-sufficiency;
3. transferring relevant technology by validation and demonstration;
